A very good 'old english' pub...real ale with a choice!
Visited on a Sunday lunch time when 'roasts' were on the go but lots of other choice. Very good choice of starters and beef was as good as it gets.
Staff are there to please and I saw them offering food not on the menu for a fussey eater which was well done!
Not the cheapest but at this quality it couldn't be, but very good value.
Didn't have pudding.......couldn't fit it in!
Can't wait to go back, A must if you are in the area. - malcolmthis review is the opinion of a user and not that of the great british pub guide, if you think this review is inappropriate flag it for moderation
